I seriously considered archiving this writing from yesterday and never letting it see the light of day. Obama sentiment runs very high right now and I really don't want to fly in the face of this. But this morning I thought, that's not me. That's not why I'm here. I'm here to voice the truth of what I see/experience coming through me whether I'm popular or not in that viewpoint. So here's what I experienced election night and wrote about yesterday. You can decide for yourself: Sometimes, what appears is not how things really are. Sometimes what is true lies in waiting for us and we don’t see it in our innocence or our unwillingness to look. As much as I wanted and tried to celebrate the election of our new president last night with great hope and joy, the intrinsic core in my heart told me there was far more happening than we can ever know. The dye is cast and now it is time to live through it. Like you, I’ve lived through these past eight years of unintelligent, horrid, destructive and arrogant presidential agendas as we have ever experienced. Like you, I have harbored great hope for Barack Obama as our president. To me, he carries the essential energies of dynamic intelligence, charisma, diplomacy, commitment to the people, authenticity, genuineness, hope and a willingness to work with us and bring us together even in our great split. Some call him an un-awakened, an un-realized light worker of the greatest proportions. I hope this is the case and he is able to continue to carry the torch. As I listened last night to one of the most genuine, heart-felt speeches from a president-elect I have ever heard in my lifetime, filled with honor, speaking out to us as a civil, intelligent, empowered nation and refreshingly recognizing those beyond our shores and borders, actually uttering the word ‘Peace,’ I felt a deep sense of wanting to cry with joy that a shift truly is at hand. A door is finally opening. ...But my heart would not let me. Over the past couple of years, I’ve begun to learn my heart is much more intelligent than my mind. It tells me the truth of things before my mind will ever know. Our hearts are intelligent, magnetic devices leading us to our own truth. What my heart told me last night is yes, Barack is definitely a great choice, a great step in the right direction and definitely personifies in a president the consciousness shift at hand. He carries the potentials of guiding us through a dark night of a national and/or global soul and calling on us to come together and contribute in a time of crisis. But Barack Obama is not all. My heart told me last night not to get sucked into the great joy of the moment but to step back from the party and look, watch, feel and see what it is we are not being shown at the moment. What came through me shook me to the core. With all the great energies flowing yesterday, by the evening, I felt I was unwittingly looking into the heart of the beast—the beast we all live within, but we all have a difficulty seeing because its usually right in front of our face. The actions of the beast are so obvious we miss it. I’ll spell this out as best I can. Please remember this. The Democratic and Republican parties are not two separate parties, they are two heads on one machine, one beast, one entity that we do not see on the surface (but we all experience and see the actions and results of). (This really came to me when I was in the voting booth eyeing the Green Party. I realize now, a vote for the Republicans or Democrats is a vote for the same thing, the same machine, the same beast). The nameless, faceless powers that be who pull the strings within the machine, the beast are the real leaders, shadow leaders. Just because we can’t see them, doesn’t mean they aren’t there. They are, and their fingerprints and footprints are everywhere. The feeling through my heart that overwhelmed me last night once I stepped back from the president-elect celebration was this: “We are all being played.” We are all being played fathomlessly beyond the boundaries of what we can imagine. The machine, the beast (the dark shadow behind the scenes) let us elect an individual whom the majority in this nation and world loves and loves with great passion. Barack’s election feels like an insidious trap they are trying to lay for us. We are innocently and unknowingly playing right into their hands. I could feel the dark source energies within the machine, within the beast begin to collect themselves to unleash their wrath on us when we least expect it, during one of our most vulnerable national moments, in the most unexpected manner possible. These waves flooded through me and I wanted to throw up and pass out. At this juncture I was a wadded ball of knots with waves of thoughts and emotion flying everywhere. This is what finally settled out for me last night. Yes, I still truly believe Obama is a choice of the people, an un-awakened lightworker, a soul to help lead and guide us. I hold great hope for him, for us. This is the time to continue surrounding him and his family with great white light. This is the time to see him sworn in and standing in the oval office with his family in the White House. But do not underestimate the power, the wrath, the insidiousness, and great patience and timing of the shadow world government behind the scenes (yes, the beast). They know their time is up by November of 2011 when the energies of the consciousness movement are foundationally seeded enough to move us into the light age (and their time then is over). They are willing to do anything to reclaim power on this planet including bringing down (politically, financially, socially) the most powerful nation in the world. Elements of this election feels like it plays directly into their hands, their strategy. However, the greatest mistake the beast may have made is allowing Obama’s election, underestimating the light and energy of the consciousness movement to sweep through the oval office and this country, this world. I also sense, depending on the light and energies around Obama, that shadow work by the ‘beast’ may very well be neutralized and dismantled behind the scenes (as I sense so much of it has in the past several months. Yes, we’ve passed by so many crisis and disasters on the radar screen that never materialized. We’ve slid by some really big ones in the past fourteen months folks. Things might look bad right now, but it doesn’t hold a candle to the potentials of what we’ve already passed through.) So, where does this leave us? Right at the doorstep of 2009 for everything to play itself out. If there is one thing I hope you remember as we travel through this time, its that the energies we are living in and coming into supports leadership at the grassroots level. In other words, we are all leaders. We are the change. We are the light and we are the hope and we are the love, not just one single man, far away in an office. Yes, Obama can help facilitate this kind of energy, but we are the ones ultimately responsible for the changes at hand. Since April of this year I felt the balances tip and the horrible dark war we were up against is waning. I know in my heart of hearts we will get to the place and time of the new energies, higher consciousness, the Age of Light. But getting there is probably going to be the bumpiest bitch ride we’ve ever been on. We have a wall of time to live and survive through, folks. Once we survive and get thru this, the foundation of the new energies will be anchored enough for us to build upon. My hope of hopes is that Obama lives and sees the light of day to lead us into a new time. My hope of hopes is that we do this as peacefully with as much light as possible. May we neutralize what the other forces and sources are trying to lay in wait for us. My hope is that you and I, as the adults and pioneers of this time survive and hold the door open for the children, the Crystals and Rainbows and more to seed, root and flourish. Our job is to make sure we live to see this happen. So, run your light. Set your space. Anchor light in your home and on your property and in/on your person. Heal the dark wounds within you and let them go. Prepare. Gird yourself. You are warriors of light and peace and it’s time to powerfully and consciously stand in the face of whatever darkness decides to unleash upon us. We all must be our own Obama and not wait for a leader to do it for us, rescue us, or provide a solution. We are the solution. We are the change.
